Measuring the alcove correctly
Measure the depth from the glass or window frame to the front edge, and the length from wall to wall. For bay windows, measure the long side, the short side and the depth, which gives a trapezium.
The thickness depends on the window handle and the seat height. Check that the window still opens with the cushion in place.
Firm enough to sit on
A firm foam suits a window seat so the cushion does not sag. Add matching cushions in the same fabric and the non-slip underside, and you have a reading nook.

Are there matching cushions?
Yes. In the Extras step of the configurator you can add cushions in five sizes in the same fabric.
There is a radiator under my window. Is that possible?
Choose a shape with a cut-out if the cushion has to go around something, and enter the measurement of every edge.
