Why off-the-shelf mattresses rarely fit a camper
Hardly any conversion has a straight sleeping area in a standard size. Wheel arches, sloping rear doors, storage hatches and rounded corners call for a mattress that follows that exact area.
That is why you choose the shape first in the configurator. Besides the rectangle there are shapes with angled edges and cut-outs, plus two- and three-part folding mattresses for dinettes that become a bed at night.
How to measure your sleeping area correctly
Measure the area the mattress will lie on at its widest and longest point. Every angled edge and every cut-out is its own edge with its own measurement. The sketch in the configurator shows you which measurement belongs to which edge.
The thickness mainly depends on the headroom above the bed. Check how much space is left to the ceiling or overhead locker when you sit upright.
Which foam for a campervan mattress?
HR cold foam is point-elastic and holds its shape. It adapts to the body and returns to its shape after use, which is why it is so often chosen for mattresses.
PU foam is more affordable and works well for seat cushions and sleeping areas used only occasionally. In the configurator you see straight away how each foam changes the price.

Can I order a mattress with an angled edge or cut-out?
Yes. Choose the matching shape in the configurator, for example “Rectangle with angled cut” or “Rectangle with corner notch”, and enter the measurement of every edge.
Is the cover removable?
Yes. Every mattress gets a cover with a zip. The zip is included in the price and you choose the side yourself.
How long does production take?
Delivery in 21 to 27 working days to other EU countries, 7 to 18 working days within Germany. Every mattress is cut and sewn only after you order.
Can I return the mattress?
Made-to-measure mattresses are made just for you and are excluded from the right of withdrawal, so check your measurements carefully before ordering.
